South Of France
After an amazing, but short stay in Italy, it was time to explore the South Of France. We flew to Nice and stayed there for 5 days. I can truly say that this was one of the most magical destinations I have visited in my travel journeys! For the first two days we spent our time wandering around the lovely city of Nice and relaxing on a beautiful beach. What I love about Nice, is that it’s not one of those cities which is full of must-see tourists sites. You will discover so many incredible spots just by wandering the streets! However, there are a few spots I would encourage you to go while visiting Nice. If you would like to soak in the views of the city you have to walk to Castle hill as it is probably the best place to get breathtaking views! When you feel exhausted of walking all day, a perfect place to relax and have a cup of coffee would be Le Meridien terrace. It is a hotel rooftop with incredible views over the sea. When you wake up starving in the morning go to Deli Bo. They serve delicious breakfast and brunches. Also, you need to get their heavenly famous litchi raspberry macaroon! If you are in the mood for some quick breakfast go to Bagelstein to get the best bagel in town! After breakfast take a stroll to Cours Saleya market where you can stock yourself up with some goodies as it overflows with many fresh products. It is located in Old Town. If you are a morning runner go to Promenade des Anglais for a nice jog. On our third day we took a train to Cannes, stopping for brunch in a place where you can dine with toes in the sand (I can’t remember the name of it)! Next place on our list was Eze where we went the next day. After exploring that beautiful village we got back to the train heading to Monaco for a couple hours. Known as a playground for the rich and famous, Monaco is definitely a sight to see. The next morning we woke up and were about to pack our bags when we realized our flight was the day after than what we expected and we had one extra day to explore!
