Who doesn’t love banana bread? This Whole Wheat Banana Bread is the easiest to make, moist and super flavorful. Made with 100% whole wheat flour and lightened up with coconut oil and coconut sugar!
Banana bread is definitely my favorite thing to eat for breakfast/dessert/snack. It’s made healthier than normal banana bread but super tasty at the same time. This particular recipe is very basic and requires just one bowl and a few simple ingredients!
MAIN INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS 100 % WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD:
overripe bananas
maple syrup or honey
eggs
I love using white whole wheat flour. It’s as nutritious as regular whole wheat, but the wheat is much softer when baked which is what you want!
If you like this whole wheat banana bread recipe you’ll love this oatmeal pumpkin bread even more! Simply substitute pumpkin for mashed bananas!

Your recipe ingredient don’t list maple syrup but your instruction say honey. Mmmm which is it?
Thank you for noticing! I just updated the recipe. You can use maple syrup or honey, depending on preference. Both work!
